Thank you all so much for making the Scholastic Book Fair a HUGE SUCCESS this year! We were able to purchase $2,700 worth of books using our Scholastic Dollars we received from the Fair! The books are passed out at our morning breakfast events! A BIG THANK YOU goes out to everyone who helped set up/take down/scan books, Mrs. Whiting for rearranging her whole week, those that purchased items AND those that donated $$ so that everyone that wanted a book was able to take one home!! It truly takes a village! Way to go Summerland!
Also, the online Book Fair is open until November 24th!!

Friday Fun Book - Today's Feature: Because of an Acorn!
It's Semi-Final Football night for the Summerland Bobcat Football Team!! Kick-off time is set for 6:00!! Let's show up and be loud and proud and help cheer on our boys to a VICTORY!
Here are some reminders for tonight:
Pack the track is taking place. Please stay on the track and off of the grass/field. If we have any issues with this, we will ask all spectators to return to the bleachers/stay behind the fence.
Overflow parking will be the following: to the south of the school between the parking lot and the Summerland road and the grassed area to the west of the school's utility drive. Please refrain from parking in any of the areas that have green grass, stay on the brown grass only. Absolutely no one should park along the side of the road on the paved roads leading to the school.
Please also remember that Confetti/shredded paper, powder (baby, talc, etc.), Laser light/pointer, flashing objects,
miniature sports balls, objects or candy thrown into the crowd, Artificial noise makers, (included but not limited
to horns, cow bells, bells, buzzers, clickers, thunder sticks, rattles, instruments not part of a band), whistles,
air horns, sirens, cannons/muskets/guns/fireworks, live animals are all on the NSAA list of prohibited items. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. We are looking forward to hosting a great game in a fun environment with two outstanding teams. It should be a great evening for football. Please help us in reinforcing these rules set by NSAA. We don't want to do anything that might affect our boys team!!
