Summerland Public School

This is a reminder of the Summerland Weight Room usage rules for keycard holders. The regular usage hours are 5:00 AM-10:00 PM. You must enter through the weight room doors #18 on the Northwest corner of the building. Current SPS students can not use the facilities unless they are accompanied by an adult family member. The weight room is closed to outside use during the SPS Summer Weights program hours of 6:30-8:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. ALL facilities will be closed to everyone during our Summer Moratorium, July 3- 7th. Summerland Public Schools promotes a healthy lifestyle and encourages safe use of equipment and facilities.

This spring, the elementary student council had the opportunity to complete a service project with the West Holt student council. They spent the afternoon working together to make tie blankets that are donated to our local nursing home facilities.

Our last Keep the Quote winner this year was 3rd grader, Everly McKillip! Everly went above and beyond during teacher appreciation week writing kind notes for many members of the staff. She added so many kind words and truly made them feel appreciated. She always has a compliment waiting for those around her and always offers a kind word. She truly colors the world with kindness!
