Thanks to the generous donation of the Orchard Community Club, the VR Game Truck Nebraska will be making a visit to the Orchard Community Center! The first 3 hours will be educational virtual reality sessions running 1 hour each. We are excited to bring you the safari, walks on the moon, and dinosaurs. The 2nd 3 hours will be virtual reality gaming.
EDUCATIONAL VIRTUAL REALITY:
11am-12pm - Virry VR (African Safari)
12pm-1pm - Apollo 11 (Walk on the Moon)
1pm-2pm - Dinosaur VR
Children must be 5 or older to participate in the VR Truck. All children must be signed up in advance for the educational sessions. You can contact Stephanie Cleveland by phone or text at 518-312-6884 to sign up your child(ren).
As an added bonus for attending the Educational VR, each child will be given a
coupon that they can bring into the Orchard Public Library after their session to
receive a free National Geographic book. The book they receive will relate to the VR
session they were just in!!! Thank you to the Orchard Community Center and
Orchard Public Library for providing the books.
GAMING VIRTUAL REALITY:
2pm - 5pm
While you do not have to sign up for these sessions, we recommend signing up to ensure you are able to get in. Anyone signing up can sign up for an hour, 2-3, 3-4, or 4-5. If we do not fill up before the day of the event, walk ins will be welcome. To sign up in advance for the gaming, please contact Stephanie Cleveland by phone or text at 518-312-6884.
And parents, a vendor fair, concessions, and the open house for the Orchard Public Library will be happening from 9-3. So, drop the kids off for some VR fun and then go enjoy food, shopping, and some reading!!! And don’t forget Ribfest starts at 5:30 if you would like to hang around for some amazing ribs.
